The experience of a small chain with hotels in European capitals.

After a year working with the fantastic team at Gat Rooms, we sat down to talk with Eva and Federico, on the occasion of their visit to Fitur, to ask them about their experience using GuestPro’s PMS. Discovering their point of view on the digitalization processes of their chain becomes important to keep improving our platform.

Hotel: Gat Rooms
Berlin – Lisbon
Operating with GuestPro from 2022: PMS
We talked to Eva Llopis, Sales-Marketing & Revenue Manager

Gat Rooms is a Barcelona-based company with hotels in European capitals: Berlin and Lisbon. Their concept is very simple, Eva tells us, “Gat Rooms’ accommodations are based on: offering an optimal rest, a good shower and an excellent and balanced breakfast”. They are hotels located in the center of big cities with all services at hand, very functional and with a minimalist and practical design.

A modern and contemporary hotel concept needed a complete update of its PMS.
A trendy concept such as Gat Rooms needed the latest technology. And the one they had no longer met the needs of a business like its own, without automation or the possibility of online check-in, for example.

Cloud environment, agile and easy to use, suitable for working remotely; some of the highlights.
It is at this moment when GuestPro seems to be the perfect partner for this small hotel chain. They were demanding to obtain reports and statistics, to be able to work the data with graphs and analysis beyond excel. A cloud environment that would make it easy to work from any device and remotely.

“Agility, usability, a more visual and clear work environment that allows the flexibility of working remotely” are some of the aspects they value most in GuestPro’s PMS. Eva also tells us that automating their clients’ confirmations and having templates with a customized design is a feature that is proving very useful.

So far, the Gat Rooms team has adapted perfectly to the operation of our platform, it is a young staff used to working with the latest technologies, cloud, tablet for income and online check in… So it has been a perfect match.

After a year working with us, Eva suggests us some improvements that her hotels need to manage groups and reservations… We take note. Talking with our clients and receiving their feedback always helps us to improve our platform day by day.

Gat Rooms has several projects underway, this 2023 they are going to upgrade the product, in the case of Lisbon they are changing all the outdoor furniture of the terraces, floors on the first floor and breakfast area and breakfast buffet furniture.

In Berlin, work has begun on the installation of air conditioning and soon the refurbishment of the reception and bar area, which are expected to take shape in 2023.

From GuestPro we wish them the best of luck and we will continue to offer them our support and our technology to keep them growing.
